Chief of Staff

Nearly 2,000 firms across New Zealand, Australia and the UK trust our platform, from the biggest firms in the world to small specialist practices. Backed by Australasia's top VCs, we're expanding into the USA while relentlessly deepening our position in the UK and Australia.

We're at the stage where a small number of people will determine whether we win globally. Now, we need a Chief of Staff to ensure that we do.

The role

You'll work directly with our CEO and own the gap between vision and execution. The direction will be clear and exceptionally ambitious. Your job is to make it happen, working out what has to be true, marshalling the people and resources to get it done, and making sure every piece of work has the right owner. Few seats anywhere offer this much leverage. We have a strong in-person culture, so you'll be based full-time in our Auckland CBD office, trusted with substantial resources and a highly capable, ambitious team.

What you'll be doing

• Turning the CEO's direction into concrete plans with clear owners, deadlines and decision rights

• Running the company's operating rhythm so nothing waits on process

• Leading company-defining projects that don't yet have a natural owner, building trusted teams for execution and standing up new functions

• Cascading context, unblocking teams and protecting founder focus

• Bringing decisions to the table well framed, with trade-offs and a recommendation rather than open questions

About you

• You've proven yourself as a Chief of Staff at a fast-growing, venture-backed company. This is not a role for learning on the job

• You operate like an owner and fix problems before anyone asks

• You move very fast, communicate with unusual clarity and are ruthless about priorities

• You want the leverage, agency and stakes that come with being pivotal to a company's success

• You have the permanent right to work in New Zealand
